Luxore Kitchen Worktops
Luxore is a range of engineered quartz stone worksurfaces manufactured using the latest techniques.
Luxore comprises natural quartz and high performance polymer resin.
Luxore unique composition make it the most suitable material for kitchen worksurfaces. As a high quality quartz worksuface and worktops Luxore is very strong and durable. Luxore is non porous and as such is easy to maintain and resists staining. It is also easy to clean and maintain without the need for specialist cleaning products and polishes. Luxore quartz worktops are heat resistant, although not heat proof as such we recommend the use of a worktop saver or stainless steel pan bars. There are also over 23 colours to choose from with something to suit even the most discerning customer.
Luxore Care and Maintenance
Daily Cleaning
Luxore surfaces will retain their sheen for a great many years and the only maintenance required is regular washing with clean, hot soapy water to remove surface dirt.
Q. How stain-resistant is Luxore?
Spillage's such as wines, oils and acidic substances (eg vinegar) should be wiped clean immediately. If necessary, use a small amount of non-abrasive & non-bleach cleaner
Kitchens Preston offers a care and maintenance kit and would strongly recommend that one be purchased with every worktop.
Q. Does Luxore withstand heat?
Luxore is highly heat resistant and hot pans can be placed directly on to the surface for short periods, however Kitchen Preston recommends the use of a trivet instead.
Q. Can Luxore be used in food preparation areas?
A. Luxor quartz surfaces are nonporous and are perfectly suited for kitchen areas, or wherever food is prepared, as they greatly reduce the potential for bacterial growth. Luxore surfaces are free of mold and bacteria due to the use of quartz as a key ingredient.
Q. Do I need to apply a sealer to Luxore?
No. Luxore quartz surfaces are totally non-porous, and you will never have to use a sealer or any other kind of wax.
Q. Can Luxore be used outdoors?
A. Some of our customers have installed Luxore outdoors, but we do not recommend this application as our products have not been approved for prolonged exposure to UV rays.
Why choose Luxore worktops for your kitchen?
Luxore kitchen work surfaces combine quality and class in a modern kitchen or contemporary kitchen
Being man-made, Luxore is stronger than granite and non-porous
Quartz worktops are extremely durable and can be cleaned using virtually every known cleaner.
Quartz is a man made product and as such do not require sealing as it has a very tough exterior surface which is resistant to staining
