A composite of paper, ethically and renewably sourced Richlite offers a range of stylish colours and finishes to suit even the most discerning home owner.

Richlite is reasonably new to the UK but has been established in the US for a great number of years. Richlites unique paper surfaces bring a soft and comfortable ambience to a room thats rarely achieved through cold, hard stone and plastic solid surfaces. It is made from environmentally sustainable resources and is an attractive, durable, long-lasting material that complements a variety of design tastes.

Available in Black Diamond, Redstone, Green Mountain, Yellow Island, Chocolate Glacier, Blue Canyon and Brown Points This material is manufactured to thicknesses from 3mm to 75mm.

Richlite is made primarily of paper purchased from FSC-Certified sources and/or recycled paper. The paper is treated with resin then pressed and baked to create solid sheets.

Richlite is fabricated in the same way wooden worktops are fabricated meaning it can be used in areas requiring integrated sinks and bowls.

A Richlite certified fabricator can produce clean seams. They are not invisible but much cleaner than what can be achieved through stone countertops. Richlite comes in up to 3660mm lengths and 1525mm widths so most projects can be accomplished without a seam due to the size of the sheet.
