Symphony Kitchen Worktops

The Symphony Gallery Kitchen range consisting of Modern, Shaker, Timeless and Linear kitchens has its own range of Laminate worktops which can be ordered through us either as an additional unit, or as a stand alone product.

Symphony Kitchen Worktops are primarily aimed to provide asthetic matches between the existing symphony kitchen range and the worktop, however with over 20 colours and finishes to choose from Symphony Laminate worktops look stunning in any kitchen.

Symphony Laminate Worktops are available in either 30mm or 40mm thicknesses and in Matt or Gloss worktop finishes. however prior to ordering please check that the thickness and worktop finish required is available.

Care and Maintenance of Symphony Kitchen Worktops

Laminate kitchen worktops are made from high-density chipboard; they are probably the most popular worktops used in your every day kitchen and if looked after correctly will last the life of your kitchen.

Cleaning laminate worktops

Laminate worktops are very easy to care for and maintain. Every day kitchen cleaners are fine to use on your laminate worktop and will not discolour or mark your work surface. Hi gloss worktops will show watermarks and smears but a dry cloth with cleaner and a little bit of elbow grease will soon get rid of the marks.

Preventing damage to your Symphony Laminate Kitchen Worktops

Laminate worktops are very durable but can be damaged by heat We recommend that you do not place a hot pan straight from the hob on to the worktop surface as this can leave a heat marks on the worktop. This kind of mark will not be able to be removed. So it�s recommended that you use trivets, pan or hob bars or alternatively worktop protectors to protect your worksurface. It is also recommended that you use a chopping board not only to prevent scratches, but for hygienic purposes so bacteria cannot harbour in deep scratches in your laminate worktops. Wood effect laminate worktops do not need re-oiling like solid wood worktops and can be treated the same as any other laminate worktop. There are a few laminate worktop repair kits on the market that you can get to repair minor scratches and will help maintain your worktop. These repair kits will not repair heat damage to you laminate worktop and should only be used for minor scratches.
